Calming Deep Breathing Visual and Audio Guide Assistant.

I have created this easy to follow visual and audio guide to help with the practice of deep breathing for calm, relaxation and healing.

Most people tend to breathe quite quickly so this handy helper will help guide you to breathing at a rate of 6 breathes per minute. 5 seconds breathing in and 5 seconds breathing out.

Breathe deeply with the feeling of filling the the abdomen then the lungs even right up into the head.

The video is around 17 minutes long and try to practice this once daily.

Something Wrong? Switch Then Be Present Technique

Something Wrong? Switch Then Be Present Technique

This is a technique I have used a lot in the past and continue to use at times now when I want to be more present or if I have that impending feeling that something is wrong or will go wrong.

This state of being where you are constantly waiting for something to go wrong or trying to be prepared for the next fire to put out is really hard on your nervous system. What we can forget is that when you have a clearer mind and are more relaxed we are actually able to react faster to events in a more rational manor or alternatively we don’t react at all. There will be lots of times when you look back at life where you can see it would have been better to just let it go and not taken any action. When we are in a calmer more present place of mind this is what we do more often. We let more things go and spend less time firing up our sympathetic nervous system.

This technique has enabled me to let go of thoughts which aren’t serving me even when they are quite strong persistent thoughts.

Then after doing this until I get the desired results I wish for, then I add in thoughts that I want to have.
I will do some more videos in the future showing that part.

How I Start My Day

How I Start My Day

So I have been toying with adding a video each day to motivate people to start their day with some form of meditation or breathework.

So usually each morning I get up between 5 and 6 am and then immediately go and do some breathing techniques, meditation, stretching or yoga, brain retraining, a cold shower. Sometimes I do all of these and other days just parts of it. Pretty much every day though I do Breathing first and then a cold shower as it is so good at resetting the nervous system and relaxing the mind and body. These two together are also really great for letting go of any emotional energy that is stored in the body.

I go to the gym a couple of times a week at least and then this is normally where I add in some yoga. Although starting quite recently I have been adding more yoga and stretching at home. For some people this may sound like a lot to fit into a day. Some may think it isn’t very much. I didn’t start out here though. Four years ago all I managed in a day was getting from bed to a chair and then sitting meditating for most of the day. At the time that seemed like a lot for my level of health back then.

Over time and not really in a linear fashion as there were quite a few peaks a troughs, I have continued to keep raising the bar of what I do in a day to where I am now and continue to raise that level more over time.

Along with this there is still things like cleaning the house, teaching my daughter school work, writing, teaching, making videos and helping my wife, to fit into the day.

So it is a process of improving on where I am at in every moment, which I believe many people can accomplish each day.

As I move forward I am playing with ways to help others heal and reach their own goals whatever those may be.

Explosive Meditation A Bit of Fun

Explosive Meditation A Bit of Fun

Laughter is the best medicine! During times where there is an overload of serious and fearful thoughts and actions.

Joy and laughter is such a wonderful way to balance your mind and body. It can also diffuse tension like nothing else.

So I made this short video clip to have some fun while I had a few minutes during the day.

Quick 3 minute Visual and Audible Meditation With River. Letting go.

Quick 3 minute Visual and Audible Meditation With River. Letting go.

Processing emotions and letting them leave your body is a deeply healing opportunity.
Nature is a wonderful place that has the tendency to draw out of us and use what we no longer need.
As we breathe out carbon dioxide the trees take it in and in return they give us oxygen.
In this video I added some some deeper music to possibly gently stir some emotions. You can just stare into the video while feeling the music while letting go of any emotion that you are feeling.

Let the river draw it out and you and float it away.

Feel deeply physically any emotions that you have and let them go into the river water as it passes by your screen

How to Find More Peace In Emotions Technique

Here is a technique iv used at times to help create some balance with emotions or feelings that I was resisting to flow more easily. I hope that it is also helpful for someone else.
There are many amazing to ways to find peace with your emotions and feelings and maybe this is another tool that you can add to that tool box.
Finding gratitude and appreciation for anything in life creates more inner peace and feelings are no different. By finding appreciation for even the most challenging ones can really help at times.

Global Healing Meditation 20 Minutes

Global Healing Meditation

In light of all of the stress and panic that has been filtering around the world I wanted to create a video and opportunity to offer some balance and calm to that energy.

In this guided meditation we will be taking around 6 breathes a minute and visualizing perfect radiant health within ourselves and then radiating that energy outwards.

In times of distress the feelings of others stress can be palpable and by getting as many people as possible to take part in meditations such as this we are able to offer some balance to that with feelings of health, love, appreciation and peace.

It is a wonderful way to lower stress and create the feeling of peace and vitality in inner and outer worlds.

Love and peace
